Before the Jump

Well,
Here's a study piece..
Another hurdle to hop over..I forgot how to pose most of my figures. Little by little I will get a little more dynamic with the poses.
But the moment before the jump.
He's going over the edge to surprise the hell out of a target below. But I thought I should work on the moment while he takes his deep breath..anticipation for the coming adrenaline rush..to hit the ground swinging the hell out his blade to block and dodge the rain of bullets he'll hit as soon as he touches down.

The Toy show is coming up next Saturday..
And I don't have anything done yet.

Resolutions

My New Mantra for the Year.

This is something to live by this year, especially after reading a confession on PostSecret.com Something that involved someone being jealous of those who go out and live their dreams. Ending with the absolute truth about how this person was simply lazy for not grasping at their golden ring.










This year is the year that I find out if I'm ever going to be the artist I said I was going to be.

Back In the Saddle Again

Finally, I've sat down to actually begin drawing again.

My hope was to be able to start drawing the way I used to..key words "USED TO". And I'm beginning to realize that you can never go home. Not after learning so much more since I've done this.
The first image was worked on today..in fact a few minutes ago, but it's part of a larger image...page 2 of my long promised but never delivered comic.
